Dorry Wefing

Head Coach 14 Black Radiant

Coach Wefing played three sports throughout her High School career at Mount St. Dominic Academy, in Caldwell, NJ. Soccer, basketball and softball. Wefing was planning to pitch at Mount St. Mary's University at the college level for softball but unfortunately was seriously injured and could no longer play. After 2 1/2 years of college in Maryland, she transferred to Seton Hall University, and in the fall of 2007 got an opportunity to Coach Freshmen HS volleyball for the Mount St. Dominc Academy. She graduated from Seton Hall later that year and continued coaching.

She recently just finished her sixth season as the head Freshman volleyball coach at the Mount and she feels that it has been a great experience coaching young student athletes.

Coach Wefing also has further experience coaching softball at Oak Knoll School of the Holy Child in Summit, NJ. She coached two years at the 5th-6th grade level, and two seasons of HS Varsity softball as the Assistant Coach.

Wefing continues to enjoy coaching and considers it a big part of her life. She looks forward to being instrumental in training athletes  at Radiant Suns Volleyball to make a statement.

Coach Wefing is currently a preschool teacher in Roseland, NJ.
